The VMR Box-plus is a 2-channel direct box (DI box) made for connecting instruments, keyboards, DJ mixers and consoles cleanly and reliably. It converts unbalanced signals to balanced ones, which helps reduce noise and allows longer cable runs without losing signal quality.
It has a 3-position pad (0 dB, -20 dB and -40 dB) to adjust the output level to the equipment you connect to, and a Ground Lift switch that helps eliminate ground-loop hum. With its XLR and 1/4" inputs and outputs, it adapts to guitars, basses, keyboards, DJ mixers and even an amplifier's speaker output going into a console input. That way, several keyboards connected to the same amp can reach the console without a direct box for each one.
It is a practical choice for bassists, guitarists, keyboard players, DJs and sound technicians working on stage, in the studio or in a rehearsal room. Its rugged metal construction is built for everyday use.
